About Bens’ Falls Retreat

‘Deloraine’, a property of over 3000ac, has been the home of the Taylor family for over 20 years. Primarily used for high country grazing of prime beef and lamb Allan and Shirley also farm Deer while natural game abound.

Goat, Wild Pig, Fox, Rabbit and Kangaroo are found across the property which is also traversed by the Severn River for many kilometres. Murray Cod and Golden Perch are fished from the many waterfalls and deep ponds bordering Deloraine while Trout and Bass stock our dams

Keen anglers themselves Allan and Shirley opened the property to guests and constructed rustic cabins fronting the river - a place where anglers and lovers of the outdoors might share in the gift Nature had handed them.

Recent additions include the construction of a fish stocked dam while work continues on a modern, exclusive Restaurant and Reception venue overlooking Bens’ Falls and the majestic Severn River gorge.
