Cod Cabin

Rates are

$180 per night, mon-thru

$230 per night, fri-sun

this is for 4 guests, then there is a tariff of $50, per person, per night.

Our cabin is located right on the riverbank on the Severn river. The river offers a chance to catch AND RELEASE Murray cod and yellow belly.

Staying at our self-contained rustic cabin, you have around 8km of exclusive river to delve into, with around 1500ac of bush-land to explore.

The Cabin is built from slabbed timber with a real rustic charm. Cabin is powered by solar, wood fire heating, it contains 240L fridge and cooking facilities, all cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery, hot showers, and bathroom facilities. Cabin has 6 single beds and 1 double bed, but bedding is not provided.

King Fisher Cabin AKA Tiny House

This is situated on our beautiful trout dam. It is perfect place for a romantic getaway or honeymoon stay.

We designed this cabin for all those guys who are addicted to fishing but also don’t want to be apart from their partner. You both can fish or 1 can stay back and enjoy the peacefulness of our area, and why not spoil your self with a picnic box to enjoy while taking a dip in the elegant bath or organise a massage or facial.

You will become one with nature, with no outside world distractions. Fishing from this cabin is catch and release in river OR catch and eat a TROUT (1 per person). You have access to around 2km of rugged river frontage with access to 2 stocked dams.

This cabin offers, all amenities you need. Has 2 beautiful big windows to watch the sun rise and wildlife. This cabin has luxurious queen bed and also a double bed in the loft above the amenities. Has gorgeous fire pit outside where the stars are out for show.

Dams

Bens Falls Retreat offers 2 dams on the property to fish. They were originally stocked around 2007, one dam was stocked with rainbow trout and the other was stocked with, bass, silver perch and golden perch. Both dams have been restocked with bass, silver & golden perch in 2020.

DAM 2 - as of 30th of August 2023 was stocked with 180 plate size rainbow trout. These are catch and eat for King fisher cabin guests
